If you have service pack 3, then you're good to go - it wouldn't install without also installing the previous service packs. Thanks for the response! I have service pack 3 burned to a disc and ready to go, but when I go to install it, everything unpacks and prompts me that it needs Service Pack 1 or older to go on. Ahh, I gotcha. You're going to have trouble, as XP is no longer supported. That means that you have a couple options; turn to unreliable, probably virus-infected download sites, or try to find a torrent.

Or try to find someone who HAS xp and see if you can copy the files from them. I'm not sure what the process for that is, or if it can even be done, but it seems like it's the best bet. I managed to find this: That might just do the trick. The copy of windows the I am using is 100% legit and paid for. I don't steal software. Thank you very much DarkSable I will give that a try! I already tried this link, and it was an express version, so what happened was it went to go to the server to get the download, but then had 2 errors and said 'Cannot connect to server' I assumed that it was because they disconnected the usage of that download server because of how old the software is.

Windows Xp Service Pack 1

Mar 15, 2011 Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 helps. And Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1. Windows 7 SP1 from the Microsoft Download. Windows XP Service Pack 1 install, Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 install, Windows XP Professional Service Pack install, service pack 1, sp1, service pack.

This is kind of disappointing. Fortunately I have a Thumb drive that might have it on there from earlier projects, I need to find it though I lost it haha.

But if it is on there I am going to burn them to a CD so I can access them when I need to. Thanks For your help!

Dealing with older operating systems can be such a PITA. Fortunately I was somewhat modernized by force - when I was twelve or thirteen, my dad threw out my seven-year-old computer, and I built a new one using some new parts and some parts he scrounged from work. Unfortunately, it had windows Vista in it - as soon as windows 7 came out, I upgraded and haven't looked back since. This is kind of disappointing. I have 2 Windows 7 computers and one windows Vista. Unfortunately, my favorite operating system is Windows XP it is very fast and I think one of the cleanest operating systems windows has made. I also like how like you can really monitor how your computer is running with windows XP, that you cant with Vista and 7. I agree very much! I have 2 Windows 7 computers and one windows Vista. When gaming, there's no question that windows 7 is the better option, but for work use, it's a dead split for me between XP and linux. @Das_Stig thank you very much for the response that helped very much! @DarkSable I have used Linux on one of my computer except getting drivers for devices. Fender Universal Asio Driver.

Ps3 Update 4 50 Size Limit here. That prompted me to replace that with windows Vista. But I do like the look of Linux very fast setup.
